Teaser for Disclosure Day, Spielberg's next and undoubtedly great film.

Universal Pictures has just unveiled the first teaser for Steven Spielberg's UFO film, which finally has a title: Disclosure Day. And a magnificent poster (see opposite).
In less than two minutes, the filmmaker establishes a subject, an atmosphere, and the beginnings of a spectacular science-fiction tale, filled with striking visions and a global mystery. The images already possess an iconic quality, carried by a camera that serves a fluid and constantly moving narrative: a true display of mastery. UFOs are among us. In the excerpt, Emily Blunt plays a weather presenter who, live on air, suddenly begins speaking an unknown language. She then teams up with Josh O'Connor's character, ever more magnetic with each film, to uncover a truth that no one seems ready to hear. The screenplay is by David Koepp, while Janusz Kamiński is the cinematographer. Disclosure Day, released in France on June 10, 2026. It's hard not to think, in subtle ways, of War of the Worlds and Close Encounters of the Third Kind, and we're already counting down the days. An official synopsis has been released: "If you discovered that we are not alone, if someone showed it to you, proved it to you… would you be afraid? This summer, the truth belongs to seven billion people. We are approaching… Disclosure Day." Emily Blunt, Colin Firth, Eve Hewson, Colman Domingo, and Wyatt Russell round out the cast of this feature film, Spielberg's first film since The Fabelmans (2022). Disclosure Day is expected to be released in French cinemas on June 10, 2026 (and on June 12, 2026 in the United States).
