Stop everything: first teaser for the Michael Jackson biopic

There are biopics that simply feel inevitable. The film retracing the artistic life of Michael Jackson, from his beginnings to his death, and simply titled Michael, certainly makes sense. It is directed by veteran Antoine Fuqua, best known (and acclaimed) for his action-packed films (Equalizer, Shooter). A guaranteed hit for Michael? The pressure will be high on the director to pay the tribute the King of Pop deserves. The same goes for John Logan, who wrote the screenplay, but also and especially for Jaafar Jackson, who will have the task of portraying the singer who died in 2009, and who is also his uncle. A singer and dancer, the young man plays his very first role here. Michael will be released in theaters on April 22, 2026.
