In 2025, Samsung is once again reimagining the user experience across its premium TV range by introducing a new, wireless version of its convenient One Connect box. This technological choice exemplifies the convergence of audiovisual performance, sleek design, and installation flexibility.

Since its introduction in 2013, the One Connect box has continuously evolved towards maximum discretion. Its dimensions have steadily shrunk to offer an increasingly compact form factor, and its weight has followed the same trend, becoming significantly lighter. Even better, in 2021, on the brand's most premium TV models, the One Connect box benefited from a dedicated space on the back of the screen, positioned on the stand and completely invisible. However, this configuration is impossible if the display is wall-mounted, as a cable connecting it to the box remains essential. In 2025, Samsung takes the concept to its extreme with a Wireless version of the One Connect box, available on the Samsung The Frame Pro Ultra HD 4K and Samsung QN990F Ultra HD 8K series, meaning it operates wirelessly (except for the power connection). Users can now fully enjoy their TV's features while freeing themselves from unsightly traditional cables, even with the screen mounted on the wall like a painting. One Connect Wireless, a redesigned concept for a unique look. The One Connect Wireless box represents a break from traditional cabling solutions. Until now, it required a wired connection between itself and the TV via a proprietary cable. Now, thanks to its wireless technology, Samsung eliminates this visible link. The installation thus becomes remarkably minimalist, with only the TV's power cord still visible (absolutely perfect if there's a wall outlet near the TV), while all other connections such as HDMI, USB, Ethernet, antenna, etc., are grouped on the box. It can therefore be discreetly installed in a TV cabinet, for example, or remotely (up to about ten meters away). The aesthetics and clean lines of the television are thus fully preserved. One Connect Wireless: a stable and high-performance connection. The One Connect Wireless function is far from being a gimmick. It relies on a high-frequency transmission module based on Wi-Fi 7 technology (while wireless connection of devices to the television operates up to Wi-Fi 6), designed to guarantee an ultra-low latency connection and high bandwidth. Its speed is even sufficient to transmit 4K or even 8K content at 120 Hz. Audiovisual signals are transmitted without any visible loss of quality, thanks to a proprietary protocol designed by Samsung and compatible with the smart home ecosystem. The connection uses error correction algorithms and dynamic signal adaptation technology to maintain optimal stability, even in the event of interference or environmental disturbances. For the most demanding users, or those wishing to minimize the number of electromagnetic radiation sources in their home, it is still possible to connect the box to the TV using the traditional One Connect cable provided, thus offering complete flexibility. One Connect Wireless: Centralizing all connections. The One Connect Wireless box acts as a connectivity hub by bringing together all essential inputs. It features, among other things, four HDMI 2.1 ports (compatible with VRR, ALLM, and eARC), USB ports, an Ethernet port (RJ45), an antenna/cable input, and an optical audio output. A major advantage is that grouping all the connections in one easily accessible area simplifies connecting external devices such as game consoles, Blu-ray players, internet boxes, soundbars, etc. No more struggling to reach the ports on the back of the screen, sometimes requiring awkward contortions (for example, when wall-mounted); everything is now directly accessible on the One Connect box. In short, the Samsung One Connect Wireless system is much more than just a simple connection box. It's a complete solution designed to offer maximum freedom in layout, without compromising on picture or sound quality. By eliminating cabling constraints, Samsung paves the way for a smoother audiovisual experience, preserving interior décor and resolutely looking towards the future.
