Perplexity AI on Samsung Smart TV 2023, 2024 and 2025

After the integration of Microsoft Copilot (see our news on Microsoft Copilot AI integrated into Samsung 2025 TVs and monitors), your Samsung Smart TV becomes even smarter with the very first appearance of Perplexity AI on connected TVs.

Perplexity, you're probably familiar with, is an intelligent agent like ChatGPT, which answers your questions and helps you with various tasks, including searching for specific, sourced information on the internet.

Samsung announces the arrival of the Perplexity application on its Smart TVs, the very first time this agent has arrived on a connected TV. You can ask all your questions to the application (by voice or keyboard), including contextual integration allowing you to choose content to watch, or even ask "But what is the brand of that beautiful jacket that Brad Pitt is wearing in the film I'm watching?". The interface is designed to be easily readable on a large screen, and the app is available on Samsung 2025 TV models, with compatibility for 2023 and 2024 models coming via an update later this year.
