To celebrate PlayStation's thirtieth anniversary, Sony is preparing a beautiful photo book showing "never-before-seen prototypes, concept sketches, and design mockups that shaped the consoles' development."
In other words, designs envisioned for PlayStation consoles but never seen the light of day, let alone been shown until now. Entitled PlayStation: The First 30 Years, the 400-page tome is a quality baby, weighing in at a whopping 5 kilos.

Reservation at the recommended price of €115 on the publisher's website, for delivery expected in spring 2026. Note: a luxury version at €290 signed by the console designer Teiyu Goto and limited to 1,994 copies, in reference to the year of release of the PS One.
