Bluesound presents a new pair of soundbars with the Pulse Cinema and Pulse Cinema Mini. After our presentation of the first (see our news on the Bluesound Pulse Cinema, Dolby Atmos 3.2.2 soundbar), it's time for the second, the most affordable one.

A feature-packed [abc]streaming[/abc] soundbar, the Bluesound Pulse Cinema Mini is an all-in-one [abc]Dolby Atmos[/abc] (virtual) [abc]2.1[/abc] model with eight speakers and multiroom via BluOS.

Bluesound Pulse Cinema Mini, acoustic package££££ The Bluesound Pulse Cinema Mini soundbar has six drivers: two 21 mm tweeters, two 45 mm midrange drivers and two 102 mm woofers plus two 102 mm passive cones to reinforce the impact of low frequencies. The total power output reaches 280 W (2 x 38 W + 2 x 38 W + 2 65 W).

Designed for TVs 40" and larger, the Bluesound Pulse Cinema Mini can be placed under a screen or hung on the wall. A [abc]DSP[/abc] and the speakers automatically adapt to the chosen configuration. It stands out for its simplicity of installation with minimal cabling compared to more complex Home Cinema systems.

Bluesound Pulse Cinema, connections and connectivity££££ In terms of connections, the Bluesound Pulse Cinema Mini has an [abc]HDMI[/abc] socket with [abc]eARC[/abc] management, an [abc]optical[/abc] input, a stereo input via [abc]RCA[/abc], an [abc]LFE[/abc] output, a [abc]USB[/abc]-A port and an [abc]Ethernet[/abc] port. For connectivity, it is worth mentioning the compatibilities [abc]AirPlay 2[/abc], [abc]Bluetooth[/abc] 5.2 APT-X Adaptive bidirectional, [abc]Wi-Fi[/abc] ac (possibility of a wireless connection of a Pulse Sub+ subwoofer if necessary), plus Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect and Roon Ready certification.

Note, support for [abc]MP3[/abc], [abc]AAC[/abc], [abc]WMA[/abc], [abc]Ogg[/abc], [abc]Flac[/abc], [abc]MQA[/abc], [abc]Alac[/abc], [abc]Wav[/abc], AIFF files up to 192 kHz/24 bits and DSD 11.2 MHz is provided. As mentioned above, the BluOS multiroom audio platform is present, enabling wireless surround sound via the addition of Pulse M or Pulse Flex rear speakers. It also manages music streaming and the integration of the Pulse Cinema Mini into a Smart Home environment such as Control4, Crestron, RTI, URC, Lutron, etc.
