At its recent annual presentation to advertising agencies in New York, Netflix revealed that its Standard offer with advertising launched in 2022 has now been adopted by more than 94 million subscribers worldwide.
Netflix with advertising, new advertising formats planned for 2026££££
A great growth since this figure was 70 million in November 2024, and 40 million in May 2024. For reference, Netflix had 301 million subscribers worldwide at the end of 2024 and today 50% of new subscribers are moving towards this least expensive offer (€7.99 per month). The platform added that in 2026 will be launched new interactive formats of ads which will appear during pause or in the middle of content. These formats are part of Netflix's proprietary advertising platform deployed in the USA and Canada, and which will arrive by June in countries where the option is available (so here too).
