LG is therefore not a little proud to announce that it is the first TV brand to have more than 10 million [abc]Oled[/abc] televisions in European homes, a sales figure reached in the second quarter of 2025. As a reminder, the adventure began in 2012, the date when the first television of this type was available on the shelves (the LG 55EM960V, model [abc]1 080p[/abc]).

According to the market research and analysis firm Omdia, the milestone of 10 million Oled TVs sold in Europe occurred in April 2025. Since the launch of its first Oled TV on the old continent in 2012, LG has continued to develop its sales: 2 million units in 2019, 4.9 million in 2021, 8 million in 2023 and 9.5 million in 2024.
Ole TV market Europe, LG leader in key markets££££
If we zoom in on the figures from the beginning of 2025, during the first quarter of 2025 alone LG sold around 391,100 Oled TVs in Europe, with a market share of 56.4% (compared to 52.4% if we consider the global TV market). The brand is the leader in key countries such as the United Kingdom, Germany and France. Today, more than one in two OLED TVs sold in Europe still bears the LG logo. LG's C series, the latest OLEDC5 representatives of which were unveiled at the CES 2025 show in Las Vegas last January (see our news LG C5: 6 OLED Evo AI TVs from 42" to 83"), remains the best-selling in Europe.
