TCL X11H Max Micro LED TV: 163'', Ultra HD 4K and 10,000 nits

Remember, TCL presented at the IFA show in Berlin a TV prototype called The Cinema Wall (see our IFA 23 news > TCL The Cinema Wall, 163'' (414 cm) Micro LED TV) based on Micro LED technology , exhibited again at the CES show in Las Vegas last January (see our CES 24 news > TCL 163'' (414 cm) Micro LED TV: between €600 and €700 per inch...). Today, a significant evolution of this television is marketed in China under the reference TCL X11H Max.

The presence of The Cinema Wall screen on the TCL stand at the two largest international trade shows dedicated to consumer electronics was anything but trivial. The Chinese manufacturer was in fact surveying visitors and observing reactions with the aim - hidden at the time - of offering this type of product for sale quickly, albeit with some major developments (or even lower).

TCL 163X11H Max, 24.88 million diodes££££ With the 163X11H Max, TCL is therefore the third TV manufacturer to offer such screens, that is to say built on the auto-process emissive Mini LED, after Samsung and LG. As a reminder, each pixel here is made up of three tiny RGB LEDs with a lifespan of 100,000 hours, for a total of 24.88 million (3,840 x 2,160 x 3), each playing the role of sub-pixels . We therefore find an additive process (the sum of red, green and blue gives white) and the diodes generate their own light like Oled technology, therefore without the need for a backlighting system or LCD panels. . The response time announced by TCL is incredibly low, 3 hundredths of a second (0.03 s).

TCL 163X11H Max, light peak at 10,000 nits££££ TCL announces for its TV 163X11H Max, Ultra HD 4K obedience, a light peak at 10,000 nits and internal 22-bit color processing, i.e. performance light years away from that displayed by the screens present at the IFA in Berlin or at CES from Las Vegas (1,700 nits). Compatibility with HDR Dolby Vision is of course still required. The basic sound section, the one integrated into the television, displays a 6.2.2 configuration. But a 7.1.4 soundbar, dedicated to the TCL 163X11H Max, is also planned.

The TCL 163X11H Max TV is only available in China. Indicative price: 800,000 yuan, or approximately $110,000.
