Roon Core, késako ?££££

As a reminder, Roon first analyzes the user's music library stored on computer(s), a hard drive Nas, an external hard drive or a tablet shared on the home network and, then, browses the Internet fishing for information to create a personalized digital magazine offering a lot of information on all the titles in its library: descriptions, photos of artists, reviews, lyrics, tour dates... Once the Roon software is installed on a computer or network hard drive, it is possible to manage all of your music files using the Roon Remote application on your smartphone for example, and even directly from streaming services such as Tidal and Qobuz or Roon's own web radios. And enjoy it, in multiroom configuration if desired, on one or more of the Yamaha devices listed below. Additionally, by associating this information with a Tidal or Qobuz subscription, Roon finds links between your songs and those in its catalog so you can discover music that matches your tastes.

It is also possible to benefit from Roon functionalities independently through a Roon Nucleus or Roon Nucleus Plus server on which the entire music library will be stored, indexed and shared. To then broadcast it to an amplifier, network player, connected speaker, etc. shared on the network. Last clarification, Roon supports AAC, AIFF, Alac, Flac, MP3, OGG and Wav files up to 768 kHz/32 bits and DSF, DFF, DSD64, DSD128, DSD256 and DSD512.
