CES 23 > LG Display presents its cutting-edge automotive screens

At CES 2023, LG presented its latest display technologies that will equip vehicles of the not-too-distant future.

Korean LG showcased its latest "advanced automotive solutions" at CES 2023, including the P-Oled (Plastic Oled) automotive display and the world's largest automotive display, an LTPS 57 LCD specimen '' (145cm) replacing the dashboard, as well as a self-driving concept car fitted with various futuristic automotive displays, including the industry's first 18'' (45.72cm) OLED automotive panel.

Oled Tandem and 3D LCD Featured at LG Display

The P-Oled screen signed LG Display is based on Oled Tandem technology, i.e. an OLED panel with a double organic electroluminescent layer offering better brightness and durability than a single-layer version. Note also lower energy consumption (by approximately 40%) and reduced weight, two essential advantages for the automotive sector. LG also introduced the Cluster 3D LCD display, a 12.3'' (31.24 cm) glasses-free 3D display that provides real-time road information in the form of three-dimensional images by tracking drivers' eyes. .
