The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake: the masterpiece returns on Nintendo Switch 2

On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the The Legend of Zelda saga, Nintendo makes a major move by unveiling on Switch 2 the full remake of the legendary Ocarina of Time, a landmark video game initially released in 1998 on Nintendo 64.

Between GTA VI scheduled for November 19 and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time set for November 5, this eleventh month of the year is already shaping up to be historic, promising to keep players glued to their couches, controller in hand.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, the foundations of 3D gameplay

Nintendo has just released the very first trailer for the highly anticipated overhaul of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, originally released in 1988 on Nintendo 64, celebrating with fanfare the anniversary of a cult franchise. In short, this title laid the foundations of 3D gameplay, when everything still had to be invented. Foundations that are still relevant today, without which video games would certainly have a different feel now.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, graphic overhaul

This remake stands out for a complete graphical overhaul, incredible attention to detail, and the modernization of gameplay to match current standards, such as... a button to jump! Note amusing details such as the possibility of humming into the controller microphone to activate the game's ocarina, or even an entirely French voice cast.
