IFA 26 > Hisense 116UXS TV: RGB-C technology, Chromagic 2.0 and 40,000 zones

After a particularly noticed CES 2026, Hisense is taking advantage of the Berlin26 IFA show to detail its brand-new UXS series, now officially announced in two giant diagonals with the references Hisense 100UXS (100", 254 cm) and Hisense 116UXS (116", 294 cm). The manufacturer lifts the veil on its four-primary-color architecture called RGB-C and specifies the capabilities of its Mini [abc]LED[/abc] backlighting powered by the new Chromagic 2.0 technology.
Always equipped with an ultra-thin nearly borderless design measuring just 39.9 mm thick (1.57") and powered by a majestic 6.2.2 system signed Devialet (Paris Opera edition), the Hisense 100UXS and Hisense 116UXS televisions stand out as the brand’s new technology showcases. The ambition to broaden the visible spectrum in order to shake up the competition now takes on its full meaning: the manufacturer confirms the rollout of RGB-C technology, closely tied to the new Chromagic 2.0 management system, to redefine color reproduction on these exceptional displays.
Hisense UXS: RGB-C technology and Chromagic 2.0
The UXS series formally introduces RGB-C technology. This RGB Mini LED Evo backlighting system adds an additional primary color, cyan (C), to the traditional RGB (Red, Green, Blue) triplet. This component specifically targets the spectral zone where human vision is most sensitive to the slightest variations in hues (wavelength 450-500 nm). Hisense thus expands the available light spectrum in order to improve color accuracy and naturalness, avoiding color banding and artificial oversaturation. The exclusive Chromagic 2.0 system leverages this unprecedented architecture to guarantee colossal coverage reaching up to 110% of the BT.2020 color space on both models.
Hisense UXS: more than 40,000 control zones and Eye Comfort
Contrast and brightness management also reaches a major new level. While Hisense had previously referred to “tens of thousands” of zones, the brand now officially confirms the presence of more than 40,000 color control zones. These adjust infrared light and the different chromatic components of the image with surgical precision. Everything is orchestrated by the Hi-View AI Engine RGB processor, which integrates various functions based on artificial intelligence to optimize color reproduction and brightness in real time, as well as image smoothness thanks to Motion Clarity 180 hertz technology. Finally, Hisense is mindful of viewers’ visual health. The 100UXS and 116UXS feature the new Eye Comfort system, designed to significantly reduce the share of harmful blue light emitted between 415 nm and 455 nanometers.
Availability announced for October. Prices still unknown for the Hisense 100 UXS, €16,999 for the Hisense 116UXS.
