TCL NXTPaper 70 Pro, up to a week of battery life thanks to its paper screen

The TCL NXTPaper screen, with its paper-like touch, is central to the record-breaking battery life achieved by the Chinese manufacturer's latest smartphone.
At the last Mobile World Congress, held in early March 2026 in Barcelona, TCL presented the latest evolution of its NXTPaper screen for mobile devices, notable for its ability to reproduce the warm look of AMOLED technology. The TCL NXTPaper 70 Pro features a surprisingly responsive IPS FHD+ screen. However, it was a bit early for this new technology to appear in a commercially available product, and the new TCL NXTPaper 70 Pro smartphone therefore retains the previous generation of NXTPaper screens: a 6.9" FHD+ IPS LCD that nevertheless manages to mimic the responsiveness of OLED. Furthermore, it's hard not to be impressed by the strengths of this device, starting with its battery life. The TCL NXTPaper 70 Pro offers up to 7 days of battery life thanks to Max mode. Ink! Indeed, thanks to various modes the user can choose from, such as Max Ink which prioritizes essential options and reading, the battery can last up to 7 days. The price is also attractive, reflecting the device's relatively modest technical specifications: MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, 8 GB of RAM, a 50 MP main sensor and an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens, plus a 32 MP selfie camera. Available. Suggested retail price: €339 for the 256 GB version, €389 for the 512 GB version.
