The Sleepal lamp analyzes your sleep, without contact

In the form of a simple bedside lamp, this gadget analyzes your sleep, without the need to wear a watch, bracelet, or connected ring.
A multi-award-winning product at CES 2026 and soon to launch a Kickstarter campaign, Sleepal is a connected bedside lamp equipped with sensors that analyze the sleep and environment of the sleeper to help improve their nights. No more sleeping with your watch! Such a product has the advantage of not being worn on the body, as some people prefer to sleep without a watch (not very hygienic either), bracelet, or ring. Sleepal is therefore equipped with sensors—including a 60 GHz millimeter-wave radar—that detect sound (breathing, snoring, etc.), temperature (body and environment), position, and movement (for heart and respiratory rates). All of this is analyzed by an AI algorithm, calibrated with data collected in medical settings. A mobile app then presents the results in an easy-to-understand way, with personalized advice to improve sleep. As an added bonus, the light intensity adapts to your sleep stage, accompanying you through the night and even helping you wake up gently, for example, by only triggering the alarm during a light sleep phase.
