Samsung AI Glasses: First Smart Glasses in 2026 to rival Ray-Ban Meta

Samsung will launch its first Smart Glasses this year, directly competing with the latest Ray-Ban Meta.
Samsung will be entering a new sector this year with its first smart glasses, and the latest details suggest a model similar to its main competitor, the Ray-Ban Meta. Samsung AI Glasses: 245 mAh battery and battery life close to the Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2. According to SamMobile, the device will be equipped with a 245 mAh battery, compared to the 248 mAh of the latest Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2, promising a similar battery life of around 8 hours. Other, more official details indicate similar features, namely smartphone connectivity and an eye-level camera. This last point was revealed by Jay Kim, Executive Vice President of Samsung Mobile, to CNBC at the last Mobile World Congress 2026. He also all but confirmed that there will be no screen integrated into the glasses, specifying that Samsung has other products such as smartwatches and smartphones if the user requires a screen. The screen will therefore be reserved for another model focused on augmented reality, also developed by Samsung but which will be released later.
