The entire system is powered by the new Hi-View AI Engine RGB processor (MediaTek MT9655), which adjusts contrast, brightness, and color in real time to optimize each scene. Designed primarily for cinema, the UR9S series doesn't neglect sports or video games. With a connected gaming PC, the VA-type LCD panel can reach a refresh rate of 180 Hz in Ultra HD 4K (170 Hz on the 65" version), and up to 330 Hz in 1080p (120 Hz remains the standard for Xbox Series X and PS5 consoles). Dolby Vision HDR 2 compatibility ensures more precise tone mapping, while Dolby Atmos compatibility enhances the experience. The Hisense UR9S displays support HDR HLG, HDR10, HDR10+ Adaptive, and Dolby Vision IQ HDR. They are also IMAX certified. Enhanced and Calman Ready. Pantone and SkinTone certifications, for their part, guarantee faithful reproduction of natural colors. We've heard that a Dolby Vision 2 Max update is being considered, although there's no official confirmation yet.
Hisense UR9S TVs, televisions designed for sports and gaming
The three HDMI 2.1 ports are now confirmed, one of which is eARC compatible, and come with a full suite of gaming features: VRR, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, ALLM, and the Game Bar interface accessible in Game Mode. The TV also stands out with a unique feature on the market: a USB-C port compatible with DisplayPort 1.4, capable of transmitting a 4K UHD signal up to 160 Hz from a PC, Mac, or even an iPad. This port is located on the lower left side of the chassis for easy access. Finally, the input lag is announced at 6.2 ms on the 75", 7 ms on the 85", and 6.2 ms on the 65". This architecture is ideal for enjoying a wider soundstage and Atmos vertical effects without immediately needing a soundbar. Of course, the Hi Concerto feature (synchronizing the TV's speakers with those of compatible soundbars from the same brand) is also present.
Hisense UR9S TV: Premium Design and a Refined Smart TV Experience
The Hisense UR9S TVs adopt the Vidaa U9.5 operating system, which is smoother and more user-friendly than previous versions. The platform supports AirPlay 2, Alexa and Vidaa Voice assistants, Bluetooth 5.4, and Wi-Fi 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) compatible with 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands. It also features a web browser, screen sharing from a PC, tablet, or smartphone, the Vidaa ART gallery, an AI-powered automatic picture mode, and access to the VIDAA App Store.
