Xbox Project Helix, it's official

It was via a short post on Xbox that the new president of Microsoft Gaming, Asha Sharma, announced the next Xbox console, codenamed "Project Helix," along with its logo (image at the top of the article). Project Helix, a hybrid Xbox/PC machine, confirmed the numerous rumors circulating for some time: that the machine will be a hybrid, capable of playing both Xbox and PC games. "A great way to start the morning with the Xbox team, where we discussed our commitment to the return of Xbox, including Project Helix, the codename for our next-generation console," Sharma said. Project Helix will be a leader in performance and will run your Xbox and PC games. It remains to be seen whether this machine, expected in 2027, will represent the final nail in the coffin of the Xbox story, as several founding members of the console believe, or whether it will be an opportunity for Microsoft to shine once again in the gaming market.
