nVidia Shield TV: new update 9.2.4

And another firmware update for Shield TV boxes, (yet another) one! Thanks, Nvidia.
In early February, Andrew Bell, senior vice president of hardware engineering at nVidia, stated in an interview with Ars Technica: “We were all frustrated, as buyers of phones and tablets: you buy a device, you get one or two updates, and then nothing! From the very beginning, when we were developing the Shield TV, we decided to design it to last a long time. Jensen (Huang, CEO of nVidia) and I had a discussion: ‘How long do we want to support this product?’ And Jensen replied: ‘As long as we live.’” (see our news article on the nVidia Shield TV, still up-to-date even ten years later…). These words have now been confirmed by the availability of the Firmware 9.2.4 update.

nVidia Shield Experience 9.2.4, what's new? Here is the list of optimizations made to the Shield TV with Firmware 9.2.4:

• Fixed Disney+ playback issue

• Fixed third-party remote connection issue with Xbox after Sleep Mode

• Fixed a crash issue causing Shield and CEC devices to activate during Sleep Mode

• Fixed frequent disconnection of third-party Bluetooth remotes

• Fixed the settings page closing when nVidia Share is triggered at the top of the settings page
