CES 26 > Valerion Projectors: Anti-RBE technology arrives across the entire range

This is one of the big announcements at CES 2026 in Las Vegas for video projection enthusiasts: Valerion, Awol Vision's high-end division dedicated to long-throw projectors, has just officially announced the rollout of its Anti-RBE (Anti-Rainbow Effect) technology across its entire range.
While Awol Vision is making headlines in the ultra-short-throw (UST) projector segment with its new Aetherion series (see our CES 26 news > The ultra-short-throw projector war is brewing: Awol unveils its Aetherion Pro and Max), its sister brand, Valerion, is focusing on traditional long-throw projection. For 2026, the strategy is clear: to offer the visual comfort of Tri-LCD technology with the sharpness and contrast of DLP. Valerion anti-RBE, 99.99% of rainbow effects eliminated. Previously reserved for the flagship VisionMaster Max, the Anti-RBE treatment is now extended to all models in the range. As a reminder, this visual phenomenon known as the rainbow effect (red, green, or blue flashes of color around the edges of objects or people on the screen, see the photo above) is the Achilles' heel of many single-chip DLP projectors, particularly for sensitive viewers (approximately 20% of the population). Valerion's secret to eliminating this phenomenon? A drastic increase in the refresh rate combined with new color blending algorithms. According to the manufacturer, the result eliminates 99.99% of artifacts while preserving image brightness and fluidity. Valerion anti-RBE, free two-step update. Good news for Valerion projector owners (except those with a VisionMaster Max already equipped with the feature): this firmware update is free. However, be aware that the procedure is slightly more complex than a standard update. To fully activate Anti-RBE, it is essential to install two components: • The Android system firmware (P1215 via phased OTA or USB key if OTA is unavailable) • The DLP display engine firmware (manual installation required) The models included in this rollout (which began on January 6th) include the VisionMaster Pro, VisionMaster Pro 2, StreamMaster Plus, and StreamMaster Plus 2 series. The installation procedure is available here. Valerion and Awol Vision: "One Vision, All Scenes" This announcement highlights the complementary nature of the Awol Vision and Valerion brands. While the former optimizes space in elegant living rooms with its Laser TVs, the latter targets dedicated rooms with systems capable of transforming any enclosed space into a true home theater.
