CES 26 > Klipsch The Nines II: a new generation of fully equipped powered speakers

As promised, here's the continuation of our presentation of the new products unveiled by the American manufacturer Klipsch at CES 2026 in Las Vegas. After the Klipsch The Fives and Klipsch The Sevens speakers, we now take a closer look at the Klipsch The Nines speakers, the most premium of the three.
Retaining the aesthetic codes of the original The Nines, the Klipsch The Nines II retains the bookshelf design. In terms of design, it features the Heritage style borrowed from the 1950s and 60s, utilizing premium materials: real wood veneer and metal knobs. Klipsch The Nines II: Modern Technologies However, while the form evokes the mid-20th century, the functionality is entirely modern, incorporating the latest technologies to meet new consumer needs and deliver optimal sound quality. Thus, the Klipsch The Nines II speakers feature Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi 5 Dual Band certifications, allowing you to enjoy music files stored on a compatible device—smartphone, tablet, game console, computer, etc.—via streaming. Hi-Res Audio certification (96 kHz/24-bit) is also included. Klipsch The Nines II: Extensive Connectivity; In addition to streaming, the Klipsch The Nines II speakers allow you to connect a stereo RCA/Phono input with a built-in preamp to a turntable. We also note a stereo XLR input, a USB-C port, a USB-A port, a coaxial input, and an optical input, enough to connect a wide range of audio sources. There's also a subwoofer output to enhance the bass response if needed, an HDMI input, an eARC input, and a CEC input/output for easily receiving the audio signal from a TV. Simply connect these to the television to amplify the sound experience, much like a soundbar. And let's not forget the microphone jack for Dirac Live calibration.
