CES 26 > Samsung S90H OLED TV, 15% for peak brightness

Following the premium OLED TV series from the Korean manufacturer, the Samsung S95H and Samsung S99H, comes the Samsung S90H, which also sees improvements over its predecessor, the S90F, notably through increased brightness.
Samsung has announced a 15% increase in peak brightness for its new S90H TVs compared to the 2025 S90F models, without providing further details. These performance improvements, combined with the technical specifications listed below, should continue to offer Samsung OLED S90H TVs exceptional value for money in 2026. Samsung OLED S90H TVs: New Specifications. While the Samsung S90H TV series retains the Real Black certification, which ensures deep blacks even in bright ambient light, the new NQ4 AI processor brings some interesting new features. First and foremost is the AI Sound Controller function, which allows for independent adjustment of sound elements, such as amplifying crowd noise while reducing the voices of commentators. But also the AI Soccer Mode: for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the TV automatically detects matches to optimize grass color and sound immersion (clarity of commentary and stadium intensity). And the Glare Free technology will be available in 2026 on the S90H (on the left in the photo below). Samsung S90H OLED TV, improved specifications. Among the advanced features, we can mention the improved 4K AI Upscaling algorithms for impressive on-screen sharpness of SD and HD signals and Auto HDR Remastering for HDR rendering of SDR content. The same goes for the Adaptive Sound function, which adapts the sound settings to the content displayed on the screen, and the AI Customization Mode, which adjusts the picture and sound according to the user's preferences and the detected content.

The 2026 Samsung S90H TVs retain some features from the 2025 models, namely the AI Motion Enhancer for perfect fluidity, even for fast-moving objects, and the Color Booster to dynamically enhance the color rendering of each scene. Of course, the Q-Symphony function is still present: when used with a Samsung Q-Series soundbar (2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026), it allows you to use the TV's speakers in addition to those of the soundbar, while optimizing the sound according to the room's acoustics to enhance sound reproduction, its scale, and its spatialization. To be precise, the Samsung S90H TVs (on the left in the photo below) can be wirelessly connected to up to five audio devices (see our CES 26 news > Samsung LS50H and LS70H: designer wireless speakers with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth by Erwan Bouroullec). Finally, they also feature a maximum refresh rate of 144 Hz and are compatible with FreeSync Premium Pro and G-Sync.
