A 100m LED tunnel with 148 million pixels in Italy

The Italian city of Gorizia has seen one of its pedestrian tunnels transformed into a futuristic corridor covered with flexible LED screens.
An installation at the intersection of art and technology, this 100-meter-long LED tunnel unfolds along the entire length of the Galleria Bombi, a pedestrian walkway in the Italian city of Gorizia, to honor the city as one of the 2026 European Capitals of Culture. Created by digital artist Refik Anadol in collaboration with the company M-Cube, this installation stands out as "the longest LED tunnel in the world," measuring 9.25 meters wide, with an Ultra HD resolution of 40,000 by 3,700 pixels. "We are extremely pleased to have participated in the creation of a project that brings together art and technology," said Manlio Romanelli, President of the M-Cube Group. Having created thousands of digital installations around the world, being able to put our expertise to use for such a meaningful project in our native region has a value that transcends the material aspect and marks an important milestone in our journey.
