Samsung SmartThings compatible with Matter 1.5

Through an update rolled out starting at the end of December, Samsung's SmartThings smart home platform becomes compatible with version 1.5 of the Matter communication standard for connected homes. This makes the SmartThings ecosystem the first to be compatible with Matter cameras, in addition to improved functions for closing shutters, garage doors, and other devices, as well as optimized energy management.
