"Crazy": 2,800 drones to play Tetris!

The final of the Tetris World Championship by Red Bull (yes, it exists) took place in Dubai on a unique screen, equipped with thousands of drones in place of pixels.
Often over-the-top in the name of spectacle, Red Bull deployed the very first flying giant screen for playing Tetris in Dubai on December 13th. And it was spectacular! The Red Bull Tetris Championship, a truly insane production. This unique screen, created by the company Lumasky, was composed of thousands of drones, each representing a pixel that changed color at the right moment, simulating how a monitor or television works. A crazy installation for a truly epic event, as it served as the backdrop for the Tetris World Championship, where representatives from 60 countries competed. While the French player was unfortunately eliminated in the semi-finals, it was the Turk Fehmi Atalar who won the final, played on this screen of 2,800 drones, 1,400 for each player. Absolutely insane. Watch and admire…
