Sennheiser HDB630, Bluetooth 5.2 APT-X Adaptive and adaptive active noise reduction££££
Inheriting the Momentum 4 Wifreless model in terms of design, it has a lightweight design complemented by a headband made of Japanese protein leatherette, Ideatex. The acoustic system is custom-designed, designed for both wired ([abc]USB[/abc]-C or analog) and wireless listening, in [abc]Bluetooth[/abc] 5.2 associated with the APT-X Adaptive codec. Whether connected via USB-C or analog, 96 kHz/24-bit file management is standard, as is [abc]Hi-Res Audio[/abc] certification. The Sennheiser HDB630 features adaptive noise reduction technology and a Transparency mode to reconnect with your environment with a single gesture.
Sennheiser HDB630, Bluetooth transmitter dongle included££££
In this regard, the headphones come with a USB-C Bluetooth transmitter dongle that transforms any suitable source (smartphone or tablet, etc.) into a high-resolution transmitter compatible with APT-X Adaptive. Useful, considering that a small proportion of current smartphones natively support high-resolution wireless audio.
Sennheiser HDB630, Smart Control Plus app££££
A good point about the dedicated Smart Control Plus app, which not only offers a five-band equalizer, but also the Crossfeed function (inspired by the HE 1 headphones) which mixes the left and right channels to recreate a soundstage close to listening on speakers. Also present is a new parametric equalizer to amplify or attenuate frequencies with precision. Finally, note that the battery life reaches up to 60 hours per charge and a quick charge function offers 7 hours of listening in just 10 minutes.
