A few weeks ago, the Chinese manufacturer presented several new products, including two new smartwatches with specific features, each aimed at a specific audience: the Huawei Watch Ultimate 2 and Huawei Watch D2.
The Huawei Watch Ultimate 2 stands out for its underwater features, making it a target audience. Available in blue and black, with a zirconium-based liquid metal case, a two-tone nanocrystalline ceramic bezel, and sapphire crystal, it's the first-ever smartwatch certified for diving up to 150 meters. Huawei Watch Ultimate 2, exclusive specifications££££ In addition to this resistance, it can communicate underwater via sonar—another first—allowing you to exchange watch-to-watch messages up to 30 m and send an SOS up to 60 meters. Another feature that's aimed at certain people is the presence of high-definition golf course maps. That can always be useful. Like other Huawei models, the Ultimate 2 (see photo below) includes the Sunflower GPS system, combining five-system dual-band positioning and advanced algorithms for ultra-precise navigation even in difficult conditions.

New features include fall detection, emergency SOS mode, and high-altitude monitoring. Not to mention Huawei TruSense technology, which supports up to 11 health indicators via the Health Glance function. The watch allows instant and continuous measurement of SpO₂, and precise monitoring of heart rate and sleep. Battery life is up to 11 days in Power Saving mode. Standard mode guarantees 4.5 days of use.

Huawei Watch D2, advanced health monitoring££££ Now we take a look at the Huawei Watch D2, a model focused on health monitoring, distinguished in particular by the integration of advanced technologies for blood pressure monitoring and arrhythmia detection. Also worth noting is the 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (even during sleep and daily activities) to detect blood pressure data that is difficult to capture (see photo below). Huawei TruSense technology is naturally included, and Huawei can boast here the first smartwatch in the world to obtain both registration as a Class II medical device from the NMPA in China and the EU CE MDR certification for wrist-based ambulatory blood pressure monitoring.
