While previous rumors claimed that Samsung's first-ever extended reality (XR) headset, Project Moohan, would hit stores on September 29, the product will be delayed by a few weeks and finally arrive on October 21.

This is what Korean media ET News reports (via JukanLosreve), specifying that the delay is due to an internal readjustment of the marketing strategy. The device will therefore be presented in detail on October 21, and go on sale immediately afterward at an estimated price of more than $2,000. The headset will therefore be cheaper than the Vison Pro, although it is positioned as a direct competitor to the Apple device.

As a reminder, the Project Moohan headset is the result of the collaboration between Google and Samsung, which began a while ago with the Wear OS operating system for Wearables (bracelet, watch, etc.). It should feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2 processor capable of simultaneously managing 12 cameras and sensors, as well as Samsung Display Micro-LED screens with a resolution of 3,800 ppi (compared to 3,391 ppi for the Apple Vision Pro).
