The IFA show in Berlin was therefore the occasion for Hisense to unveil the S5120Q soundbar, a slim model whose sound reproduction has been refined by the French company Devialet (see our CES 25 activity > Hisense x Devialet collaboration for high-flying audio-video performances).
Hisense S5120Q, main specifications££££
The Hisense S5120Q, 5.1.2 model, comes with a wireless subwoofer with a 5.5" (16.5 cm) [abc]woofer[/abc]. Certified [abc]Hi-Res Audio[/abc], it also incorporates the brand's Room Fitting Tuning process, to optimize the sound reproduction according to the environment (automatic calibration). The Hi-Concerto function, which synchronizes the sound of the TV and the sound bar, is also used for increased audio presence. We also note the EZ Play 3.0 functionality for, when associated with a Hisense TV, easy and centralized control of the installation.

In terms of the equipment of the Hisense S5120Q (at the top of the photo below), we must also add a new equalizer setting and an Audio Game Mode setting for a more immersive gaming experience. Likewise, content sharing is possible thanks to Apple [abc]AirPlay 2[/abc] and Spotify Connect. In terms of connectivity, there is among others an [abc]HDMI[/abc] [abc]ARC[/abc] output (no confirmation of [abc]eARC support)[/abc], an HDMI input (no precision of Pass-Throught 4K/120) and a 3.5 millimeter mini-Jack socket.
Dolby Atmos 5.1.2 and DTS compatibility:X££££
As announced in the introduction to this news, the compatibilities [abc]Dolby Atmos[/abc]/[abc]DTS:X[/abc] are also included, with side speakers and two in Up-Firing configuration, i.e., oriented upwards for the reproduction of Height channels.
