Often well-informed on this kind of subject, the YouTube channel Moore's Law is Dead recently got its hands on some "leaked" documents concerning the next Xbox console, codenamed "Magnus". Everything that follows is naturally far from official and should be taken with a grain of salt.

We learn that the machine is said to be in its final stages of development and that it will be up to twice as powerful as the PS5 Pro, aiming for native handling of [abc]Ultra HD[/abc] [abc]4K[/abc] signals at 120 frames per second. At the heart of the console, an AMD Zen 6 processor and an RDNA 5 GPU are suspected. A possible release date is 2026 at the earliest, if not 2027. The "Magnus" architecture is said to be based around AT2 GPUs, used for mid-range AMD graphics cards. The GPU will have 68 computing units and 192-bit GDDR7 memory, while the CPU would benefit from a Zen 6 configuration engraved in 3 nanometers.
Xbox Magnus, the continuation of the main expected specifications££££
All these technical details to tell you that the performance would be close to that of an RTX 5080 type card, offering 50% to 100% more power than the PS5 Pro, depending on the activity. The use of already more or less proven technologies would allow Microsoft to lower production costs relatively quickly. Other information, FSR Upscaling (AMD's Fidelity Super Resolution), Ray Tracing and backward compatibility with previous generations of Xbox games would be in place.
The price of the console should be displayed around $500 to $600.
