Commodore 64 Ultimate, retro gaming fidelity

Gaming machines from the 80s keep coming back to the forefront, this time with a particularly faithful version of the Commodore 64 computer.

After a pleasant but limited model, the Commodore 64 computer returns in a premium version, faithfully mimicking the original version released in 1982.

Alongside legends like the Amstrad CPC or the Atari 800/800XL, the 8-bit Commodore 64 (or C64) computer brought joy to many children and teenagers in the 1980s. This modern model called Commodore 64 Ultimate is not a disguised PC, nor a software emulation, but a true recreation of the original technology via programmable logic circuit (FPGA).

In other words, the original games can be used and compatibility is even ensured with old accessories like the floppy disk or cassette player. Naturally, the device offers modern options like [abc]HDMI[/abc] and [abc]USB[/abc] ports, as well as Wi-Fi connectivity, to combine the comfort of today's technologies with an authentic retro experience.

Currently in production, the Commodore 64 Ultimate can be reserved from $300 (several versions are offered) and will arrive in October at the earliest.
