Nintendo Switch 2 tortured, will it resist?

Lighter, sharp cutter, and brute force to inflict damage on Nintendo's new console. How does the Switch 2 withstand these tortures?

Generally accustomed to destroying smartphones, the YouTube channel JerryRigEverything is this time tackling Nintendo's new console. A little warning of course: you're going to see in this video a brand new Switch 2 undergoing the worst tortures, even if it's in the name of consumer testing (and a little penchant for perversion too).

Nintendo Switch 2, tough to the bone££££

The first console of the "new generation" thus takes blows from a box cutter, attempts at bending and always the famous lighter flame on the screen. Result: the device is not immortal but does not do too badly on certain points. Disconnecting the Joycons by wild bending thus causes no damage to the connectors, and the screen resists flames thanks to the "old" [abc]LCD[/abc] technology. The plastic overlay isn't scratch-resistant, however, and you'll need to invest in a screen protector if you want it to last.

Jerry's review: a machine that's much more robust than he initially imagined.
