Gordon Ramsay's documentary series takes an inside look at the race for Michelin stars

After the Netflix series Chef's Tables, which is starting to get dated, the culinary discovery series Stanley Tucci: Cuisine à l'Italie on Disney+, and Eva Longoria: Searching for France, announced yesterday at Cannes, here is the Apple TV+ version of the gastronomic documentary series Knife Edge: Chasing Michelin Stars, a breathtaking dive into the quest for Michelin stars produced by Michelin-starred chef and media man Gordon Ramsay.

Apple TV+ is also pulling out all the stops with Knife Edge: Chasing Michelin Stars, a new 8-part documentary series produced by Studio Ramsay Global. At the heart of this gourmet creation: the frantic race of the world's greatest chefs to win, maintain or regain the supreme distinction in the gastronomic world, the Michelin star.

Michelin Stars, on the road again££££

Presented by the very telegenic Jesse Burgess, co-founder of the Topjaw guide and expert in gastronomy and travel, the series offers a behind-the-scenes look at the famous Michelin Guide from the chefs' perspective. For an entire season, the cameras follow these figures of haute cuisine in their restaurants across Los Angeles, London, Mexico City and Copenhagen, as they face one of the most demanding challenges of their careers. Between constant pressure, pinpoint perfection, and the fear of failure, Knife Edge captures the intensity of a world where every service can change a destiny, while the famous Michelin Guide inspectors hide anonymously among the customers.

Gordon Ramsay intends to show the other side of this absolute quest: "The determination, the ambition, the sacrifices... all that for a star. This series shows what it really costs," explains the British chef, executive producer of the series. No broadcast date has yet been announced.
