The story of the series The Gentlemen takes place in the same universe as that of the film but does not highlight the original characters, even if the plot revolves around the character of Mickey Pearson played by Matthew McConaughey at the time. Thus, Eddie Horniman (Theo James) unexpectedly inherits his father's property before discovering that it is part of an underground cannabis empire, and that many unsavory characters in the British underworld have a great interest in it. .
