Full Circle and Fargo opus 5 on Canal, the return of Claire Danes (Homeland) and Jon Hamm (Mad Men)

Canal+ has just acquired Steven Soderbergh's new series, Full Circle, with Claire Danes. And the new mini-series Fargo opus 5.

Mini-series created by Ed Solomon (Men in Black) and directed by Steven Soderbergh, Full Circle is presented as a gripping 6-episode thriller focusing on a kidnapping that does not go as planned and which will stir up old rivalries. The series is hosted by, among others, Zazie Beetz (Atlanta), Claire Danes (Homeland) and Timothy Olyphant (Justified).

Juno Temple and Jon Hamm in Fargo opus 5

The new opus of Fargo is the fifth season adapted from the Coen brothers' film and created for television by Noah Hawley (Legion). It pits a mother with a troubled past, played by Juno Temple (Ted Lasso), against a ruthless sheriff, played by Jon Hamm (Mad Men). It also has Jennifer Jason Leigh (Short Cuts) in the cast.

Retro Fargo

Note that the channel will also offer the 1996 film Fargo and the four previous multi-award-winning installments of the series, notably starring Billy Bob Thornton, Martin Freeman and Allison Tolman (Fargo opus 1); Kirsten Dunst, Patrick Wilson and Jesse Plemons (opus 2); Ewan McGregor, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and David Thewlis (opus 3); and Chris Rock (opus 4). They will be available on Canal+ via myCanal from December 20. Full Circle and Fargo opus 5 will be broadcast on Canal+ in 2024.
