Hisense UX, 65'' and 85'' 4K Ultra HD Mini LED TV, 5,000 zones and 2,500 nits

After our updates on the Hisense 120LX 8K Ultra HD Laser TVs and our presentation of the Hisense-PX2-Pro Trichroma Cinema Laser, the Hisense U8K Mini LED TV series, a look back at the premium Qled Mini LED TV series unveiled at CES from Las Vegas last January, the Hisense UX.

We now know more about the specifications of the Hisense UX series (for Uled X) made up of the Hisense 65UXKQ (165 cm) and Hisense 85UXKQ'' (216 cm) references.

Hisense UX, main specs

Based on Ultra HD 4K, the Mini LED Local Dimming backlight system has 1,500 zones and just over 3,000 diodes on the 65'', 5,000 zones and just over 10,000 diodes on the 85' ', promises extremely fine management of contrast and brightness, for a luminous peak announced on the two diagonals at 2,500 nits. All with QLED (Quantum Dots) sauce for beautiful color accuracy.

We must also mention the Hi-View Engine X video processing, a native 144 Hz 10-bit (8-bit + FRC) LCD panel, the Game Pro mode associated with 4K/120 compatibility, ALLM, VRR and AMD FreeSync Premium , Ultra HD Premium certification and MEMC motion compensation. Finally, these televisions are equipped with a 4.1.2 sound system with a total power of 82 W (2 x 15 W front + 2 x 8 W surround + 20 W + 2 x 8 W), in the form of a built-in soundbar.

In terms of features, FilmMaker Mode is included in addition to HDR10+, HDR HLG and Dolby Vision IQ. Imax Enhanced certification is also required. Ditto for DTS:X and Dolby Atmos compatibility.

For their part, the Input Lag displays 1.7 ms, Fransat and HBBTV 2.0.3 certifications are present and the Time Shifting function is required.

Hisense UX, Smart TV Vidaa U7 and connectivity

Last precision, Hisense UX TVs integrate the Vidaa U7 Smart TV function with access to Canal+, Netflix, Disney+… streaming applications. Management of the Amazon Alexa voice assistant is provided. And on the connection side, there are two HDMI 2.1 inputs (including one with the eARC function), a Composite, a 3.5 mm mini-Jack stereo input, an optical output, two USB ports (including one 3.0) and an Ethernet port . Last precision, the Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 functions are obviously required. Without forgetting the Wisa Ready label to enjoy TV sound, up to 7.1, on appropriate speakers, that is to say wireless.

There is also a central foot for the 65'' (see photo below) and a double foot (positioned at each end of the slab) on the 85 inch.

Immediate availability for the 65'', September for the 85 inch. Indicative price: €2,490 for the Hisense 65UXKQ, €5,490 for the Hisense 85UXKQ.
