No need for a charger anymore with the latest headphones from Adidas/Zound, the RPT-02 SOL, which captures ambient light (natural and artificial) to work.

After the True Wireless FWD-02 Sport headphones already mentioned in our pages, Adidas and Zound Industries continue their collaboration with this time the RPT-02 SOL wireless headphones.

Adidas RPT-02 SOL, main specs

The Adidas RPT-02 SOL supra-aural headphones feature a headband made from a unique and customizable solar cell technology, the "Powerfoyle". It captures the energy of light, both natural and artificial, to power the helmet. Autonomy can thus go up to 80 hours, and with its IPX4 protection index, the Adidas RPT-02 SOL headphones are resistant to perspiration and splashes. Finally, note that 51% of the product is made of plastic composed of 87% PC-ABS recycled materials and post-consumer recycled nylon.

Adidas RPT-02 SOL, charging and ergonomics

The Adidas RPT-02 SOL headphones are a Bluetooth 5.2 model with 40 millimeter speakers. Full charging, via USB-C, takes two hours. Finally, the headphones are controlled via a five-way wheel or through the Adidas Headphone app.
