The trailer for the Hijack series first takes us back to the good old days of air disaster thrillers with its suffocating atmospheres and its marked codes, until an unexpected element interferes in the machine and captures our interest.

Hijack, 7 episodes in real time

Intended for the AppleTV+ platform, Hijack has seven episodes based on 24-hour real time. It all starts with the hijacking of a plane bound for London. During the seven-hour flight, ground authorities scramble to find answers. Sam Nelson (Idris Elba) is a recognized negotiator in the business world. While he must use all his ingenuity to save the lives of the passengers, his very risky strategy could well lead to his downfall.

The series is the work of George Kay (Lupin) and will feature Archie Panjabi, Christine Adams, Max Beesley, Eve Myles and Neil Maskell. The series will launch on AppleTV+ on June 28 with the availability of two episodes, then one additional episode per week.
