Brett Goldstein, screenwriter on the Ted Lasso series but also playing the tasty Roy “Grumpy” Kent on screen, had hinted that this third season, which will be released on March 15 on Apple TV +, could be the last. No confirmation for the moment, although we know more thanks to a recent interview (at Deadline) with Goldstein and Brendan Hunt, producer and also Coach Beard, another tasty protagonist of the series.
The conclusion is not definitely the end
“It's not necessarily the end of the series,” says Hunt. It's just probably the end of this story because we always saw it as a trilogy. We weren't even sure if we could tell all three parts, and suddenly, here we are. So there will be some form of conclusion to this part, but the conclusion is not necessarily the end”.
In other words, this season will conclude a story arc, but the series could continue by telling new stories. We say yes!
