The Lazarus Project: the series that plays with the future on OCS on February 5

A British anticipation series that plays full on paradoxes and time loops. A second season is currently being filmed.

George (Paapa Essiedu), a modest computer engineer, joins the ranks of the Lazarus Project, a secret organization. Thanks to a time loop, Lazarus has the power to turn back time when humanity is threatened with extinction. And George is one of the few people who can recall the "undone" events once the loop returns to the start. When an accident strikes the woman he loves, George faces an impossible choice: should he use the buckle to save his beauty, or follow Lazarus' orders and do nothing unless a global extinction looms?

To be discovered on OCS

The SF thriller series The Lazarus Project, originally titled Extinction, was created by screenwriter Joe Barton, who was already on the keyboard for the excellent series Giri/Haji (Netflix) and the horror film The Ritual.

Conceived in 8 episodes which were very popular in the United Kingdom last June, this inaugural season of The Lazarus Project will be extended with a second period currently in filming.

The OCS platform should broadcast this season 2 of The Lazarus Project by the end of the year. The icing on the cake, The Lazarus Project cast is led by Paapa Essiedu spotted in the I May Destroy You and Gangs of London series. At his side, we find in particular Anjli Mohindra (Bodyguard) and Tom Burke (Only God Forgives, Mank).
