Apple mixed reality headset, the leak!

For once, it's from Microsoft that comes the "confirmation" that Apple's mixed reality headset is coming soon.

Dubbed Reality Pro, and a persistent rumor for many years, Apple's mixed reality headset - virtual reality (VR) + augmented reality (AR) - should hit the market in the second half of 2023. And if there was still doubt about its existence, a recent leak adds credence to its next reality.

Apple Devices for Windows Hints at Apple Mixed Reality Headset

It was in the lines of code of a recent Windows application called Apple Devices that Twitter user @aaronp613 found mentions of the terms RealityOS and xrOS. The latter, available on the Microsoft Store, allows you to manage Apple devices - iPhone and iPad - connected to a PC, a task formerly entrusted to the late iTunes. As for RealityOS and xrOS, these are the names (one or the other) that Apple's Reality Pro headset operating system should have. Thus, Apple Devices should normally also be able to recognize the headphones when plugged into a PC.
