Pixel Fold in 2023, Pixel 9/9 Pro in 2024 and Google Pixel planning until 2025

A recent leak tells us more about Google's smartphone plans for the next three years.

Carefully checked by the Android Authority site and taken from one of its reliable sources, a Google plan for the smartphone sector has recently surfaced. It should be noted that nothing is written in stone and that the company reserves the right to change its plans according to the vagaries of the market.

Google Pixel 7a and Pixel Fold planned for early 2023

We therefore start with the year 2023 where two devices are planned at the beginning of the year, probably May or April, near the Google I/O conference. It would first be the Pixel 7a, a new iteration of Google's "cheap" range (iPhone SE style), which would be sold at the same price as the previous 6a (around $449). The Pixel Fold would also come, the brand's first foldable smartphone, the fruit of many rumors so far, and which should look a lot like Samsung's Galaxy Fold. Expected price: $1,799.

Then at the start of the 2023 school year, the traditional Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro will arrive. In 2024 then, Google plans to release a Pixel 8a, which would be displayed at $499 but whose arrival will depend on the success of its predecessor. Then a small change at the start of the school year, with not two but three models: Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro with 6.7 '' (17 cm) screen, and a new Pixel Pro 9 with 6.3 '' (16 cm) screen ). This year could also see a new foldable specimen, but again conditional on the success of the previous model. Finally, in 2025, in addition to the three Pixel 10s at the end of the year, Google should introduce its first flip-folding smartphone, Galaxy Z Flip style.
