Samsung Galaxy S23: 8K Ultra HD recording at 30fps

Samsung's next Galaxy S series is coming in February and should see a little improvement in terms of 8K Ultra HD video capture.

Given the latest rumors, the camera module of the next Samsung Galaxy S23 smartphones should not experience major improvements, except for a new 200 megapixel sensor.

Image quality optimized by software

The image quality would however be much better thanks to significant software developments, and 8K Ultra HD video recording should notably be possible at 30 frames per second.

This is revealed by leaker Ice Universe, which does not specify which model will be affected -S23, S23 Plus or S23 Ultra- leading to the belief that all three versions will benefit from this improvement. As a reminder, 8K UHD recording is available from the Galaxy S20, but only at 24 frames per second. The new Samsung Galaxy S23 series is expected to be released on February 17.
