The recent Comic Con event in San Diego was an opportunity for Disney to roll out the program for phases 4, 5 and 6 of the Marvel universe in cinemas and on Disney+. The opportunity to announce almost all of the interconnected series and films of the Marvel universe, with the conclusion of the second narrative arc (the first was dedicated to Thanos and the Infinity Stones), initially scheduled for 2025 with two films Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars.
Turn everything up
Some changes have however recently been made, in particular because of the delay in the filming of the film Blade, which lost its director. Suddenly, the calendar extends a little and will end in 2026 instead of 2025 with Avengers: Secret Wars. Also worth noting is the mischievous Deadpool 3 which will be added at the end of 2025.
The Marvel Maze
As a reminder, the first narrative arc started in 2008 with Iron Man was divided into three “phases”, each with its own films. Marvel explained that the ongoing Phase 4 will conclude with Black Panther: Wakanda Forever next November. Phase 5 will kick off with the new Ant-Man, Phase 6 with Fantastic Four, and aside from the two closing Avengers films, other films and series in this phase have yet to be confirmed.
