Created by George Kay (capable of the best and the worst with Lupin and Hijack in particular), War is not a series about war. Or rather, it is. It is in fact a legal series set against the backdrop of a very high-profile divorce, where all tactics are allowed to come out on top. With the release approaching, its platform HBO Max has just unveiled the first trailer, quite classic but delightful.
Publicity stunt
Headlining, Dominic West (The Wire) and Sienna Miller (American Sniper) will play this estranged couple. The tech magnate and the movie superstar will of course call on two different law firms, while the promising young lawyer Jonathan Warren (Archie Renaux) will discover a world where ambition is king and loyalty is fragile. Promising prospects that we look forward to seeing fulfilled.
War will arrive on October 1st on HBO Max. Eight episodes are planned, with weekly release. Season 2 has already been ordered.
