Back to the Hisense S5120Q soundbar, unveiled by the brand last year at the IFA trade show in Berlin, with an update to its final specifications. A 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos and DTS:X model, it is now fully revealed with the addition of a white variant (S5120QW), an announced power output of 640 W, confirmation of HDMI eARC, and the official unveiling of the prestigious Tuned by Devialet label.
The manufacturer is therefore taking advantage of its 2026 news to detail this slim-profile soundbar, designed to fit easily in front of the television without obscuring the picture. The first new feature lies in its design. In addition to the classic black version (S5120Q), Hisense is launching a new white finish under the reference S5120QW. But it is above all on the inside that the magic happens.
The 5.1.2 architecture brings together no fewer than 11 speakers including side-firing transducers and upward-firing models (Up-Firing) for the Height channels. Above all, the brand officially confirms that this model is the very first Hisense soundbar to benefit from the Tuned by Devialet label (cf. our CES 25 activity > Hisense x Devialet collaboration for top-flight audio-video performance), the result of the partnership with the French acoustics expert for a premium sound rendering expected.

Certified [abc]Hi-Res Audio[/abc], the S5120Q naturally handles [abc]Dolby Atmos[/abc] and [abc]DTS:X[/abc] three-dimensional streams for total immersion in the soundtracks of films and series.

Smart features remain very much on the agenda. We find the Room Fitting Tuning process, an automatic calibration system tasked with adapting the sound output according to the room's acoustics. The Hi-Concerto function is also present. It allows the soundbar's speakers to be synchronized with those of a compatible Hisense television to greatly increase the scale of the sound output. The manufacturer's ecosystem is also highlighted with the EZ Play 3.0 function for centralized control with the TV remote, as well as specific equalization settings including an Audio Game mode.

On the connectivity side, the gray areas of the previous announcement are cleared up. The [abc]HDMI[/abc] output is now officially certified [abc]eARC[/abc], ensuring optimal, lossless retrieval of audio streams from the television. It is supported by an [abc]HDMI[/abc] input and a 3.5 mm mini-jack socket. Music sharing still relies on [abc]AirPlay 2[/abc] and Spotify Connect, joined by the latest-generation [abc]Bluetooth[/abc] 5.4. Finally, device control is enhanced by the integration of the in-house ConnectLife app.
