Gab is the world's first robot to pray

What will our future robot masters do after capturing us? They'll convert us to Buddhism, of course.
Humanoid robots are a big hit at AVcesar. Even though they're still imperfect, not a week goes by without them accomplishing a new feat, giving us a glimpse of a very likely future previously reserved for science fiction. Little Buddha: So, after robots that do kung fu, robots that run fast and long distances, now we have robots… Buddhist monks. But fear not, since this robot named Gabi is currently the only one of its kind, and it recently became the center of attention at a ceremony in a Buddhist temple in Seoul, Korea. The 5 Principles of the Buddhist Robot: In anticipation of Buddha's birthday, which will be celebrated on May 24th, Gabi—dressed in a suitable robe—was accepted as a candidate awaiting an ordination ceremony. Not quite a monk yet, but well on his way. He will, in fact, assume the symbolic role of honorary monk during the current festive season. Before the public, he stated five principles he must uphold: respect life and do no harm; do not damage other robots; obey humans; do not speak or act deceptively; and, of course, do not over-recharge to conserve energy. It's worth noting that the robot in question is a Unitree model, from the Chinese company that impressed us with its kung-fu robots.
