SmartThings: Samsung integrates 25 new Ikea products thanks to Matter

Samsung strengthens its smart home ecosystem by making SmartThings compatible with 25 additional Ikea devices, all based on the Matter standard. This seamless integration is designed to simplify use and expand possibilities.
Samsung continues to expand its SmartThings ecosystem by officially announcing the compatibility of 25 new Ikea products. From rotary remotes and smart lighting to smart plugs and air quality sensors, all now join the platform via the Matter standard, without any additional configuration. This is a significant step for the Korean manufacturer, strengthening the interoperability of its SmartThings platform, the central hub of the connected home. SmartThings and IKEA: Expanded Compatibility Thanks to Matter. 25 Ikea products now work natively with SmartThings via Matter, the universal standard adopted by Apple, Google, and Samsung. Users can add these devices to the SmartThings app without manual setup and then pair them directly with Samsung appliances.
