Chinese manufacturer Haier is officially re-entering the French television market with a comprehensive range combining premium technologies, elegant design, and advanced artificial intelligence. This is an ambitious offensive for a company already a world leader in major household appliances.
Haier isn't just adding a new line to its catalog. The manufacturer is launching around thirty models (32 to be exact) in the Mini LED, QLED, and even OLED categories, all supported by a proprietary AI algorithm called Homey AI. This strategy aims to establish the brand among the European leaders in the TV sector within five years. As a reminder, the brand isn't entirely unknown in the French TV market: Haier had already sold televisions in 2011, before gradually withdrawing in the mid-2010s. Haier TV: a premium range structured around QLED, Mini LED, and OLED. For its arrival in France, Haier is banking on a broad and decidedly premium offering. The M90, M92, and M96 series occupy the top spots, the latter utilizing Quantum Dot and Mini LED technologies that combine high brightness with deep blacks. The manufacturer specifies that its Mini LED models "introduce numerous independent backlighting zones to improve contrast and detail accuracy." The QLED range is represented by the S80, S85, and S90 series, while the C90 model embodies the sole OLED offering. Haier TV: refined design, energy efficiency, and solar-powered remotes. Haier claims to apply the same standards to televisions as to household appliances: durability, energy efficiency, and high-end finishes. Some models benefit from the Class C label, which is above the market average. Battery-free remotes, rechargeable via solar panels on the Mini LED models, illustrate the brand's environmental commitment. The design is equally impressive, with clean lines, balanced proportions, and Zero Gap models for seamless wall integration. The M92 even boasts an Ultra Crystal Black screen designed to enhance the depth of blacks. Haier TV: Homey AI, Artificial Intelligence at the Heart of the Experience. The major innovation of this range lies in the Homey AI functionality, an artificial intelligence architecture developed with MediaTek and powered by the SR Ultra Sense processor. The television analyzes and optimizes each scene in real time, adjusting the picture and sound according to the content and environment. The Homey AI Cinema module uses AI Scene Detection and AI Object technologies to enhance faces, landscapes, night scenes, and sporting sequences. Peak brightness reaches up to 2,000 nits, with HDR10+ Adaptive and Dolby Vision IQ HDR compatibility for dynamic adaptation to ambient light. Homey AI Eye Caring adds intelligent brightness management, backed by TÜV Low Blue Light certification. Haier TV: Immersive Sound, Partnership with Kef; Homey AI Sound automatically adjusts dialogue, effects, and ambiance, while Auto Volume Control maintains a constant volume level. On the high-end Mini LED, QD Mini LED, and QLED models, Haier partners with British speaker manufacturer Kef to offer premium audio systems, a rare collaboration in the TV world designed to deliver more precise and balanced sound reproduction. Alongside its televisions, Haier is also introducing a new range of soundbars designed to complement its Home Entertainment offering.
