iPhone Air 2 in 2026? No way…

Rumors continue to contradict each other regarding the release of the iPhone Air's successor. If the latest rumor is correct, then Apple's next ultra-thin model won't be released until next year, in 2027.

Then another reason surfaced regarding a potential postponement of this model: the technical challenge of implementing a second camera. iPhone Air 2: the business press is betting on 2027. All this to say that the latest rumors about the release of the new iPhone Air are coming thick and fast, and they're all quite different. On one side, the "leakers" and analysts claim it will arrive in the fall of 2026, and on the other, those who insist we'll have to wait until spring 2027. The Japanese business publication Nikkei is in this latter camp, relying on the latest rumors heard from Apple's suppliers in Asia. Furthermore, this corroborates previous rumors about improvements to the upcoming iPhone Air: a second camera, reduced weight, a larger battery, and a cooling system based on a heat pipe, like the iPhone 17 Pro models.
